Decoration

One - and two - line initials in red and blue ink, or in gold on alternateing blue and red grounds with gold patterning. Matching red and blue line-endings. Ivy leaf fronds and a gold vertical bar border extend from an historiated initial of the Crucifixion which shows Mary and St. John on either side of the crucified Christ.
